during fashion week i attended the reebok style event. for those that know me well, i am a HUGE reebok fan, especially of the 5411. so i gagged when i got the invite & hit up the event. i’m loving the new collections, the basquiat collaborations, and the “too-fierce-to-wear-to-the-gym” workout garb…

the runways for thakoon and dior fall ‘09 were blessed by the 1940’s style moon manicure, or how i’d like to call it, the inverted french manicure. i have always loved this style because it is classic but unconventional. style.com covered this today, but last summer i used this manicure technique for the gluttsie photoshoots. want to get it done? read the technique… (more…)

kors, known for his classic shapes and sleek, all-american minimalist style, brought it for fall 2009. using unconventional neon colors and fabulous two-tone shoes. he took it to another level. ps: i live for the hat!

new era cap company fall 2009 tradition apparel look book

a few weeks ago the homies over at project 2050 brought me in to style the new era cap company fall 2009 tradition apparel look book. it was a last minute shoot, so i had to think fast and get together as many accessories as possible. the traditional apparel initiative is a collaboration with the yard, whom license out merchandise celebrating black colleges nationwide under a “give-back” policy contributing to different college programs. dope!

last night i attended the fall 2009 show for carlos campos. i was put onto campos by my girl johanna, who was the stylist for this season’s show. a fellow puerto rican, campos understands the shape of the body and knows how to keep it sexy and classy.
i am living for the short suits pictured above. i would totally wear one!! looks like a must have for me.
